Brie

Everything truly happens for a reason…

Hi everyone, I’m new to this FB page/group. So, it’s lovely to connect with you.

I have been given the pleasure of becoming part of Birdie’s (now Brie) growing family.

I am part of the Central Mass vizsla folks, so when I saw a shared post of Birdie’s picture along with

her situation, I found myself emailing Stephanie to learn more.

As my understanding grew, so did my interest in possibly taking in this little girl. I already had a brother and sister vizsla (10.5 yo) in my home, along with 2 young cats. And crazy me was like, “Heck, what’s 1 more!??” After a few phone calls, texts and video chats… it was settled that she’d be coming to us.

Already having a week off from work, it all fell into place. We did introductions and got her settled into our home. And the young V energy filled every aspect of our lives. With 2 older siblings, the puppy energy of days past was gone… until Birdie/Brie joined us! She definitely looks to her siblings for cues. So much so, that I will take Amber with Brie in situations that are scary for her, with amazing results!

At about 2 weeks in, we lost one of my older pups to a spinal cord condition… it was impossibly difficult to say goodbye to our sweet boy Cooper. Coming home to the whirlwind of happy body wiggles and dancing, helped to console our broken hearts. It was as if she was sent to us just in time to help us heal.

I look forward to learning more about her brothers and sisters. I’m starting to learn a few… 😊 But happy to share with all of you how she’s doing along the way.
